Here are the five coolest houses I found for sale in Scotland, this month First up, we have Tillydrine House in the Highlands for offers over £350,000. This place was built in the 1800s, eventually became a hotel, but then fell into disrepair. I just keep thinking about how beautiful this would be, fully restored. I did briefly speak to the estate agents about this place and they said it would take an estimated £1,000,000 to renovate it… so I just need a small loan. Next up, we have Harbour Island which, if you do have £1,000,000, is probably a more sensible option. Inside, the house is gorgeous and has so much natural light streaming in and outside, you’re just surrounded by water and amazing views. I think my favourite feature about this place is that you actually need to use a boat to get to it. I didn’t realise this was something I wanted in a house until right now. Next, for £110,000… you can buy the church in my village. Portmoak Church. In terms of building size, I think that’s a good deal for that money, but I don’t know how I feel about having a graveyard as my garden. Next, we have Barholm Castle which is a 15th century tower house that was carefully restored back in the early 2000s, and it’s on at £695,000. What I love about this is that the interior design is very castlecore. I mean, just look at the doors, the beds… the living area is named the ‘great hall’ and has a painted ceiling. Very cool. Finally, we have Lunga Mill for £410,000. This is a former grain mill needing extensive renovations. I love this place. Look at the beams, look at the natural light, look at the kettle in the toilet. If I had the money, I would buy this place tomorrow. Let me know what your favourite place was, and if you find any cool places for sale yourself, send me a DM so I can feature them. #scotland #interiordesign #architecture
