My YouTube ad revenue (what I get paid for my views by YouTube) has been much lower recently because I havenโt been making as many long videos on there. At the risk of being diagnosed with something by people in the comments, Iโve found that I go through stages where I have loads of motivation and creativity and am able to do lots of videos and then other times, Iโll go through slumps where I feel like Iโm wading through treacle trying to get anything done. Iโm sure there are various amphetamines out there that could help this issue, but Iโve decided to take the route of accepting this quirk for now.
On the flip side of the low YouTube ad revenue, my brand deal income has continued to be strong this year and this is something that Iโve started receiving quite a lot of messages about from people wanting to know how to start making money from brand deals, or how to make more money from brand deals, so it's something Iโm thinking about creating a guide or mini course on, and Iโd co-create this with my manager, Tim, who has years and years of experience in this area and has helped me massively increase my rates and the level of brands that I work with, so if youโre in this space and youโd be interested in that, let me know.
