Maspie Den is a waterfall walk on Falkland Estate in Fife and Iโ€™d say itโ€™s potentially the most lusciously green place Iโ€™ve ever been. Itโ€™s just overflowing with fern, moss, and trees, and is the closest thing to a rainforest that Iโ€™ve ever experienced. Iโ€™m a big fan of any kind of wild water whether thatโ€™s a loch, a river, a waterfallโ€ฆ and Maspie Den has a few offerings on this front, from little babbling brooks to a few more dramatic waterfalls as you make your way up. Itโ€™s not been the rainiest here recently, so the falls and streams werenโ€™t quite as boisterous as they can be, so Iโ€™ll need to come back here after the next thunderstorm and show you it at its full potential. #scotland #visitscotland
