the best thing I've taught my cats.... ππ
Itβs been a big year for teaching my cats essential life skills; how to give high fives, being played like a bongo drum on command, and ringing bells for treats, but hands down the best thing Iβve taught them to do is use the Litter-Robot.
After every use, the Litter-Robot sifts the waste, meaning you never have to scoop again. In particular, this is so useful if the cats need to answer natureβs call whenever Iβm out of the house. With a generic tray, the waste would sit there and cause a honk, but with the Litter-Robot, the waste automatically falls into a tightly-sealed drawer, keeping odours at bay, round the clock.
Combined with the Whisker app, the Litter-Robot lets you keep an eye on your catβs usage and weight meaning you can stay on top of their health. For my viewers in the US, the new Litter-Robot 5 actually has two built-in cameras which are able to analyse the waste, meaning you get an even deeper understanding of your cat's health.
Speaking of health, there is one thing in particular about the Litter-Robot which in my opinion, makes it a better option than the other smart litter trays out there, and that is the way it moves. Iβve tried a couple of other smart litter trays and while they do have their merits, one issue that always made me nervous was that these other trays emptied using a back and forward, fully closing motion. Even though they had safety protocols, I was always so worried about them malfunctioning and somehow trapping and hurting my cats. With the Litter-Robot, it empties using a horizontal rotation that never closes which I think is far superior from a safety standpoint.
