how much Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok paid me for going viral #contentcreator #personalfinance
If you’ve seen my last handful of videos, you’ll know that my pages on these platforms all gained a lot of views and followers back in May, so I thought I’d reveal how much money I made from each platform as a result of this.
Starting with the lowest, from TikTok, I made $212.93.
From YouTube, just for my Shorts, I made $870.88.
From Instagram, I made $0 but because Facebook owns Instagram and because they saw I was doing well on Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg was like that, ‘George, please join Facebook’s fast track Creator program’, so I did, and that is going to pay me a flat rate of $1,000, per month, for the next three months.
On top of that, Facebook have actually been paying me for the views my videos get as well, and so far, I’ve made another $1,781.02 from that.
So overall, from this little viral burst - and this doesn’t include what I got paid for my long videos on YouTube or brand deals - just from these short videos I’ve been posting this last little while, I’ve made $3,824.28.
If you like these kinda videos where I overshare the behind the scenes of being a content creator, then take a second to follow me. I'm planning to do these income reveal videos at the end of each month, and share advice inside them so that you can hopefully learn a little bit from me.
