Proper upper body and head positioning is one of those things that sounds simple but makes a massive difference over long distances. Because the human head weighs roughly 10 to 12 pounds, even a slight forward tilt throws off your entire kinetic chain, forcing your lower back and glutes to overcompensate. The ideal head position is neutral, stable, and balanced directly over a tall spine, with your gaze guiding your alignment.
