This is the second version of my Drone Carrier Ship (or DCS) project! To demonstrate how stable the ship is held with its dual anchor setup, I went ahead and landed my DJI Mavic Mini drone on it, while the boat was held against the strong current of the river Kireas on the island of Evia!
Drone Carrier Ship V2.0 specs :
Power : 2x LEGO L motors
Steering : Dual rudder with 1x LEGO M motor
Drone splash protection system : 1x LEGO M motor
Dual anchor system : 2x LEGO XL motors
Control : 2x BuWizz
Remote controller : Xiaomi Redmi 9AT
Footage was shot on LG G6 (tripod in the river), Apeman A77 action camera (onboard) and DJI Mavic Mini drone (aerial shots).
