Can a small LEGO boat be motorized?

The time has come to motorize another official LEGO boat, and that boat is the Police Boat Chase (set 60456)! However, a vessel this small will pose a serious challenge to motorize as it can barely carry its own weight in the water! In this video, you will witness the basic build process of the boat, the conversion to make it lighter and fully RC with a small Bluetooth module. To motorize the boat, I used a POWERUP 4.0 module designed to fly paper planes. As a controller, I used my Google Pixel 6a smartphone. Of course, a huge thanks goes to Flashbulb Games and their game TrailMakers for sponsoring this video and making all of this possible! Trailmakers is the ultimate sandbox for adventurers, builders, and engineers, where you build your ultimate vehicle and explore a vast open world filled with challenges and adventure! In TrailMakers, you can play solo or team up with friends in multiplayer to conquer the toughest obstacles! You can check out and download TrailMakers here : https://store.steampowered.com/app/585420/Trailmakers/ I hope you enjoy sailing with the captain and crew of the modified Police boat as much as I enjoyed filming and controlling it! -- Video Chapters -- Footage was shot on LG G6 smartphone (tripod and gimbal shots), DJI Action 2 (close-up ation shots) and my Google Pixel 6a smartphone (building process). As a tripod and to stabilize my Pixel 6a and LG G6 I used a Zhiyun Smooth Q3 gimbal.
