I've always wanted to shoot a train video in the wild, so I modified my old 9v cargo train (set 4563) for outdoor operations. Old LEGO 9V trains rely on a bulky power supply that is connected to a standard house plug. To overcome this obstacle, and run the train without its original power supply, I used an electronic speed controller to transfer electricity from a 3-cell LiPo battery to the metal tracks. I hope you enjoy watching this small train ride through the forest as much as I enjoyed filming it! Footage was shot on DJI Action 2 (train on-board) and Google Pixel 6a smartphone (tripod shots). As a tripod and to stabilize my Pixel 6a I used a Zhiyun Smooth Q3 gimbal. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook for sneak peeks on upcoming projects at Brick & Gear. #lego #train #afol
