I came to this meditation retreat looking for peace, silence, and clarity… but instead I ended up overwhelmed, sleep-deprived, and sneaking back into my van most nights just to get some rest. In this van life vlog, I share my honest experience at the International Meditation Centre, from noisy shared rooms and vibrating phones to sensory overload, lack of sleep, and why it made me miss the discipline of Goenka Vipassana retreats. After the retreat, all I wanted was real peace and quiet, so I escaped into nature, cooked simple vegan van meals, talked about my last magical swim with dolphins, and then headed back to Perth for my favourite laksa at Loving Hut. But now a new problem is hanging over everything: rising fuel prices and uncertainty around travel in Western Australia. My original whale-chasing road trip from Esperance to Exmouth may suddenly be in question. Will I head north to Geraldton? Will stealth camping work there? Or will I end up changing my plans completely? This video is part meditation retreat review, part van life reality check, and part Western Australia travel uncertainty. If you enjoy honest van life stories, solo female travel, dolphins, meditation, and life on the road in Australia, you’re in the right place. ❤️ Thanks for being here. #VanLife #MeditationRetreat #Vipassana #SilentRetreat #WesternAustralia #Perth #SoloFemaleTravel #VanLifeAustralia #StealthCamping #Meditation #Dolphins #FuelPrices #TravelVlog #AustraliaRoadTrip #Mindfulness
