A Year Without Winter | The Beauty of Vanlife
Chapters
Can you really have summer all year without leaving Australia? ☀️🌊
Welcome to Osprey Bay in Cape Range National Park, one of my favourite places on Earth. Every July, while much of Australia is feeling winter, I'm swimming in warm, crystal-clear water on the Ningaloo Reef, searching for humpback whales from my paddle board and living the van life I've always dreamed of.
In this episode, I share why Ningaloo has become such a special place to me, what happened when I got caught outside the reef in rough conditions, why I'm looking for an electric paddle board motor again, and why I'm still flying to Tonga to swim with humpback whales even though they're everywhere here.
You'll also see incredible drone footage of migrating whales, turtles, and a glimpse of what daily life looks like while living in my Mitsubishi Delica camper van.
If you've ever dreamed of escaping winter, travelling Australia, or living in a van by the ocean... this place might just convince you.
