I went from underground nipper to dump truck operator in just a few swings, but how did it happen? It wasn't quite the career progression I expected! 😂
In this video, I share the story of how I ended up behind the wheel of an underground dump truck, including an experience with unsafe working conditions, standing up for my safety, and some rather unexpected retaliation.
I'm also getting ready for a new chapter: my first FIFO job on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster! Between trying to find work pants long enough for my spider legs, preparing for camp life, and discovering some interesting rules before I've even started, there's already plenty to talk about. 😅
Plus, a little catch-up from Perth, some vanlife organisation struggles, and a reminder that sometimes the things that seem bad at the time end up taking us exactly where we want to go.
