Off-Grid VanLife in Shark Bay | Cheap Camps, Sharks & VanLife Chaos
Chapters
Vanlife in Shark Bay, Western Australia didn’t quite go to plan… 😅
After gearing up for an off-road adventure into the northern parts of Shark Bay, the weather had other ideas, so I changed plans and explored some of the most beautiful and budget-friendly coastal camps in WA instead.
In this episode of solo female vanlife Australia, I stay at Fowler Camp, Goulet Bluff, Eagle Bluff Lagoon and Whalebone - all incredible beachside camps for only $10 a night. Along the way we spot sharks, a turtle, dramatic coastal scenery and some breathtaking drone footage of Shark Bay’s rugged coastline. 🌊
I also attempt to make Czech bramboráky (potato fritters) in my Instant Pot… which sort of works 😂 My oily tooth is temporarily satisfied. Meanwhile, cloudy weather means reconnecting Charger 1 to properly charge my power station, and vanlife continues with all its usual little struggles - including two separate moments where I wished I had a boyfriend: once while trying to zip up my wetsuit, and once while wrestling with my paddle. 😅
I finish the vlog editing at Hamelin Pool before continuing north toward Carnarvon in the next episode.
