Gaia and Tropical Forest Pack: Heightmap and Texture Biomes (2 of 5) | #Unity #GameDev #Tutorial
Chapters
Create a Tropical terrain heightmap and texture it using Gaia. This is the first of a deeper dive into using Gaia to create a tropical paradise using Gaia and the Tropical Forest Pack in Unity.
An earlier video (https://youtu.be/zciz3ZLNjJk) shows how quickly you can create results once you have the biomes setup. In this video we start setting up those biomes, with an initial focus on the terrain texturing biome. The final biomes are available from GitHub (link below), but you will need to own both Gaia and the Tropical Forest Pack - these are also linked below via my affiliate link (help me feed my Matcha habit).
Configuration files and other terrain goodies can be found in my Terrains repo in Github: https://github.com/TheWizardsCode/Terrains
