Adding Variety to Character Animations in Unity | #Unity #GameDev #Tutorial
Chapters
I've been experimenting with a system to do semi-procedural character animations in Unity. This system removes the endless repetition commonly seen in character animations. The code is open source (https://github.com/TheWizardsCode/Character) take, play with it, provide feedback in the comments, even issue pull requests if you want to help improve it.
In this video we have a talking UMA character (https://youtu.be/jpYtT47-FSE) whose facial animations are handled by Salsa Lip Sync (https://youtu.be/fqz61ND-fT4 ) and whose body animations are driven by the open source code.
