Every spring in Yakutia, the Lena River turns from a frozen highway into a dangerous trap. The official ice road is closed — but people still drive. Because they have no other choice. There is no bridge. No railway. No year-round road. This is the only connection to the "big land" — the mainland. Medicines, food, help — everything crosses the river. In this video, I take a taxi across the melting river to show you what it's really like. From the driver's fears to deep water and cracking ice — this is spring in Yakutia. 🚗 Real voices, real roads, real risk. 🔔 Subscribe to see more stories from the edge of the world. #Yakutia #IceRoad #SpringCrossing #Russia #NoBridge #LifeInSiberia #Documentary
