Lo-Fi - Unity third person controller Melee Combat - 4. Collisions' Contact points *experimental*
Here we go again!
Some of you asked for it (our new fellow Pavel Fadrhonc).. "how can we detect exact contact points"?
Well I *experimented* a quick solution... reusing our dynamic overlap colliders to activate a bunch of rigidbodies that will collect collisions' points.
It has some flaws like missing hit normals but they can be easely calculated with some approximation with the weapon position (current frame position-last frame position).
As said it's an experiment that get the things done.
So..Check it out and have fun!
