We go all the way back to the original Flash version on Newgrounds, how that evolved into the much bigger PC release Kingdom: New Lands, and why he eventually decided to sell the IP to a publisher.
We also talk about what came after Kingdom, including the two years Thomas spent trying to build an MMORPG, how a small part of that project was salvaged and turned into Cloud Gardens, and why Pizza Possum was such a different kind of game for him to make. On top of that, we dive into his current project Garbage Country, where the idea came from, what kind of game it’s shaping up to be, and how he’s approaching its development.
