In Pakistan, I found restaurants where you can pay for plates of food to be given to people in need sitting outside. This is a simple form of charity that I’ve seen in different parts of Pakistan. Customers can pay for an extra plate, which is then given to someone who may not be able to afford a meal. In some places, people can also buy food specifically to be distributed to those waiting outside. It’s an interesting example of how restaurants can become part of the local culture of giving, allowing people to help someone in need while simply buying a meal.
