I travelled to Fort Worth, Texas, for Sick New World 2026, a massive nu-metal and alternative metal festival featuring some of the biggest names in rock and metal. But with 83,000 people in attendance, overcrowding, aggressive pushing, dead phone reception, expensive food and serious transport problems, was Sick New World worth it?
The incredible lineup included System of a Down, Deftones, Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Evanescence, The Prodigy, Ministry, AFI, Coal Chamber and Mastodon, alongside many more legendary rock and metal bands.
From the live performances and festival atmosphere to the overcrowding and struggle to get home, here's my honest review of Sick New World Texas at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
