Most travelers tell the driver to drop them right at their hotel. I don't. Instead, I pick a nearby landmark, like a KFC or supermarket, and walk the last minute. It adds almost no time, but it means the driver doesn't know exactly where I'm staying. It's a simple travel habit that adds an extra layer of privacy, especially when traveling solo. It won't be necessary in every situation, but it's an easy precaution that's become part of my routine. Would you do this, or do you think it's unnecessary?
