Hello Today I bring you in the video in which I will recondition a grinder with a crank of French origin . The grinder was functional, but full of rust and dirt, ragged paint, and a crooked handle. I carefully disassembled it, but a moment of indifference was enough to break the cast iron crank. Cast iron is a fragile material that breaks easily, and its welding is more difficult than steel , And I had to call a friend for welding, I sanded the outside and the abrasive stone .....some parts were very rusty and I applied bluing .I greased the wooden handle with linseed oil, and the sprockets with a special Vaseline .I applied a coat of black paint and it came out almost like new. Leave a comment with your opinion .
