Hello Today I'm going to make an ax with a broken tail . I'll build the queue again . For a start, I had to remove the broken tail piece from the ax . After I applied a blast to the ax and because blasting will not remove the rust in depth, I also used a solution to remove the rust. I removed the marks of the blows with a file and then with sandpaper . I used bluing to prevent rust on the metal . For the tail I chose acacia, because it is a resistant wood with a beautiful look . I had a little work because I didn't have much experience in making ax tails , And for the projection I used the usual linseed oil . I am waiting for your opinion in the comments .
