An AI played my VR game and I never put the headset on.
Meta quietly released an experimental tool called the Meta XR Operator. It slips in underneath your game at the OpenXR level, so an AI coding agent, like Claude Code, can see it and control it while you build. A QA tester that lives on your machine. Meta's docs say any OpenXR app works, mine runs on the XR Interaction Toolkit, and it worked!
In this one I put it through an escalating ladder of tests to find out how far it actually goes. Can it see the scene, press buttons, grab objects, throw a ball, aim a gun, and can you trust what it reports back?
