From a very young age, I always wanted to be a filmmaker, but my experience is more in game design and visual effects. I was never truly happy with the short films I shot on camera with live actors, so I wanted to try leveraging my post-production experience to see what I could make with animation instead. "Love Bytes" is a story of loneliness and finding connection in a world where we are constantly becoming more distant. For me, it's a very personal film, as it reflects a lot of what I was experiencing while creating it. 🎞️ Credits: Written, Directed, & Animated by Sam Prebble Music by Vahid Qualls Josie Prebble Jules Gulon Bill Modelled by Richie Jehan Sam Prebble Sound Mixing by Vahid Qualls Sam Prebble Additional Art KXLEXK Mziemys TheCali Caleb Sawtell Special Thanks Ant Timpson Craig Campbell Kate Taylor Frank Prebble Connect with DUST: Website 🌐: http://www.watchdust.com Follow Us on Facebook 👍: https://www.facebook.com/watchdust/ Follow Us on Instagram 📷: https://www.instagram.com/watchdust/ Follow us on TikTok 📱: https://www.tiktok.com/@watch_dust #DUST #scifi #shortfilm Submit Your Short Film: https://filmfreeway.com/alterdustsubmissions NOTE: Only completed shorts will be considered.
