A social Sci-Fi satire centered on a disillusioned young woman who, on her birthday, gets dragged by her boyfriend to a cosmic meditation circle; where suddenly, she must resist an alien abductor that promises belonging... at the cost of her soul. I was sparked by witnessing people I love slide into ideologies shaped by social media algorithms and partisan news outlets. Framed as an alien abduction, the film asks if our need to belong make us vulnerable to powers eager to manage what we believe? Also, aliens are fun! I'm happy if viewers are entertained and unsettled; and leave with a simple question, “Are my sources informing me… or managing me?” 🎞️ Credits: Cinematography by Alexander Jeffery Edited by Alexander Jeffery Music by Bencé Farkas Gaffer - Rex Davey Best Boy - Caleb Lemon Production Designer - Hannah Roark Hair and Makeup Director/Prosthetics - Lindsey Pellette Associate Producer - Carrie Burns Hough Production Manager - Brittany Fallow 1st Assistant Director - Josh Munds 2nd Assistant Director - Kemerton Hargrove 2nd Unit Director - Josh Munds 3rd Unit Director - Clayton Henderson 1st Assistant Camera - Jeremy Enis 2nd Assistant Camera - Clayton Henderson Key Grip - Eli Casas Grip - Steven Hardy VFX Lead - Alexander Jeffery VFX - J.C.
