Mushroom Playing Glockenspiel and Wooden Block

This is a mushroom playing a glockenspeil and a wooden block. The clips pick up electrical fluctuations in the mushroom, and our equipment converts them into signals to trigger the mushroom's bionic arms. Mushrooms create electrical signals in response to external stimuli (e.g. temperature and humidity) as well as using them to communicate with each other through their 'roots' called hyphae. These are grey oyster mushrooms.
