Sounds from the Priorat - Holm Oak (Strings), Vine (Piano), Cactus (Percussion)

Over a week in Catalonia’s Priorat region, we connected our bionic arms to a holm oak, a prickly pear cactus, and a grape vine, alongside collecting a series of field recordings. This 5 minute film is shaped by the living systems of the Priorat. – Biosonification of holm oak, prickly pear cactus, and grape vine – Contact mic textures and ambient recordings – Footage captured on location throughout the Priorat – Bionic arms moving in response to plant‑generated bio‑electrical signals About Bionic and the Wires Bionic and the Wires create music and moving‑image works in collaboration with plants, fungi, and other non‑human lifeforms. Their performances and films explore what happens when living systems become composers, improvisers, and co‑creators. Please comment and like this video if you enjoy it.
