Bionic Bramble on Riverbank

This bramble (blackberry) is playing a sample pad using its four bionic arms. Bio‑electrical signals within the plant control the movement of the arms, which in turn trigger the instrument. Filmed on one of the first spring days of 2026, you can hear the bramble’s sounds blending with the woodland stream and birdsong around it. If you listen closely, there’s even a woodpecker in the distance. Recorded in the Peak District near Pott Shrigley.
