A Christmas Tree Playing Jingle Bells

Season's greetings from Andy, Jon and all the plants and fungi at Bionic and the Wires. To get in the festive spirit we've hooked up a Christmas tree to our bionic arms to help it play Jingle Bells. In this performance bioelectrical signals in the tree determine when it moves its arms, but we set which arm it moves/ note it plays (unlike our other videos where the plants/ fungi fully improvise). Even still, it did play quite a few notes we weren't expecting it to, especially near the end. Not sure what that was about. Thank you for making 2025 an incredible year for us and our plants/fungi. We never expected five hundred people to be interested, never mind five million. We can’t thank you enough for your kindness and interest in what we’re doing.
