Make a Retro Horror Game From Scratch in Unity — FULL COURSE | Part 2 Welcome to Part 2 of my full step-by-step course on making a retro horror game from scratch. In Part 1, we created the foundation of our game, set up the FPS controller and Cinemachine, added a handheld camera effect and VHS-style visuals, and went through the story behind BAYMAX — The Mad Dog. Now it's time to start building the actual environment. In this part, we'll bring a house into our game, start setting up its doors and interactable objects, work on the PS1-style visuals, and fix an issue that one of you noticed in the previous part. We're continuing to build BAYMAX — The Mad Dog step by step, with the goal of eventually turning this project into a complete retro horror game that can be published on itch.io. 🏠 PART 2 — WHAT WE'LL DO In this part, we'll: • Fix a Cinemachine Look issue • Download and import a house model • Try setting up a skybox • Add door opening and closing • Fix the glass textures • Make the textures more PS1-style • Make the doors move correctly • Add colliders to objects around the house • Fix an issue mentioned by one of our friends from Part 1 And this is only one step in the full development process. As the course continues, we'll keep building the environment, mechanics, atmosphere, and gameplay until BAYMAX — The Mad Dog becomes a complete playable horror game. 🎮 PLAY MY OTHER RETRO HORROR GAME Want to see another retro horror game I've made?
