**THE LAST WOLF OF ENGLAND** - On the windswept cliffs of **Humphrey Head**, legend says **England’s final wolf** was hunted down in 1390. But this wasn’t just a kill — it was a family betrayal, a royal war on wolves, and the final blow to a wild England.
In this cinematic Animal Watch episode, Anneka retraces the wolf’s desperate chase through **Cumbria’s forests and fells**, the hunters who swore to take its head, and the shocking twist of the man who claimed the bounty.
Featuring stunning footage, historical reenactments, and starring Czechoslovakian wolfdog Kumi who brings the legend to life, this is the story of how one spear stroke ended centuries of wildness — and changed England’s nature forever.
**If this moved you, share it. England once lost its wolves. Let’s not let history repeat.**
