I did say that more originals were coming so here's another. This time, it's my first orchestral track on the channel and it was actually made back in February, as a contribution to the Megamix Creative Collective, where a bunch of the Megamix community demonstrate their musical skills in original tracks as opposed to the usual remixing -- you can check that out right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtqRbCibS2U The theme for this track, if you couldn't already tell, was fire. At first I tried to take the theme head on, trying to signify fire's heat, energy and destructive nature, but it didn't work out very well, so I decided to step back and try something else. So I thought about the spirit of a flame, and how fire can also be benevolent instead of destructive, it can be a spark of hope or a source of warmth. That's what begun the piece. I wanted to represent the flame coming from within, our determination and human spirit, and I'm fairly certain that uplifting energy shows in the piece. Compositionally, I went for rising and falling runs in the melody to show the rise and fall of a flickering flame, and very forward moving chord progressions to represent the momentum of the flame. I'm pretty bad at explaining it, but I hope it comes across well in the music! Thank you all so much for all the support yet again! I'm definitely really proud of this one, and how I'm able to share my original work with you, because it's definitely what I want to keep doing! I really hope you all enjoy this, especially since I'm not too amazing at orchestral stuff, even though I definitely do enjoy it! If you can, then please feel free to support me and this track, you can get it for free or name your price as you see fit. Again thanks everyone, and I'll see you on the next one soon!
