SPLATOON RAIDERS Trailer (Remix) - 'PARTYPELAGO'

yes you read that right, it's a splatoon RAIDERS remix!! it's so exciting that there's gonna be a splatoon spin-off game in our future, and i've been so stoked personally that i just had to take a crack at the theme from the announcement trailer! this was so fun to work on! you know i love me a summer bop and i thought the bouncy little tune in the raiders trailer would fit perfectly especially given the island setting. this is the second(?) time i've ever done remix of a theme BEFORE it released in a game (the first being bomb rush blush) and i think it's a fun challenge. i like to be quite referential in my arrangements but it's a little difficult when you only get to work with such little material -- the core of this track is only 12 bars long, save for the intro and outro -- and i kept this remix on the shorter end because of that. but i think i managed to add enough new stuff to keep things fun and interesting for both the arranger (me) and the listener (you)! lots of synth solo stuff to fill in the space and build tension (can you tell i've been playing a lot of mario kart world recently?? ahaha) and also added a little treat in the wrap-up section for keen listeners of deep cut hehe as always, thanks for the ongoing support everyone! times are tough but i'm glad i was able to muster up the motivation to make a fun and energetic summer track for you all, even during the aussie winter! take care of yourselves when you can and i'll try to do the same :3 Download link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10kQd1dL6ba76Zml3V8wM2n0BG4_77xDN/view?usp=sharing This video was brought to you by my wonderful patrons, including top-tier supporters -- Creepers121, PikaAud, Rymu_Hinojo, RoxScout, SordaMajora, and Sparkfire!
