Firetail League (Splatoon 2 Draft League) Intro Theme 【COMMISSION】

Recently, I was commissioned by Firetail Events, an Aussie-based group that hosts esports events, with a current focus on Splatoon 2, to make an intro theme for their Firetail League. If you're into watching competitive Splatoon 2 and are curious about the OCE scene, you can find out more at their website and follow them on Twitter and Twitch! https://firetailevents.com https://twitter.com/FiretailEvents https://www.twitch.tv/firetailevents I had a blast making this one. I've been a part of the OCE Splatoon 2 comp scene for a bit over a year now and was super excited to see the guys over at Firetail come up with some fresh new ways to celebrate the amazing players we have here. So when RamboAz from Firetail approached me about making a theme for their streams, I could not turn it down! Using their suggestions and my own creative liberties, this orchestral/EDM fusion was the result, with a triumphant and modern feel, that I think is perfectly representative of the Splatoon 2 comp scene. I even managed to subtly sneak in some Inkoming in the vamp melody, although more inspired by it than overt referencing. Thanks for having me on board, Firetail, and credit to RamboAz for the thumbnail of this video as well! Also thanks everyone watching for the ongoing support -- it really means a lot! This channel recently reached 16K, which is unbelievable and I hope I can get more things out soon! I've been pretty late in uploading this, so the league has actually been running for the past few weeks now! Matches usually happen on the weekends, so if you're curious make sure check out when they're on and tune in then!
