A World That's Mine - sheddy 【ORIGINAL】

Happy 3 years (I know it's a little late)! So, here's that original I promised! _____________________________________________ It's been a long time coming, but it's finally out! An original, made by yours truly, from the ground up. I had a heap of fun making this track and I hope it shows! This song was actually made to accompany a design project of mine during my final year of schooling. It follows the story of the girl pictured, coming to terms with the uncertainty that the future holds. She learns that, through ambition, she can make her own path and discover a world she can call her own. The song is clearly in a very pop-electronic style. While each part in itself is quite simple, and the structure is nothing to write home about, I wanted to convey a sort of optimism through the development of the phrases throughout. The main lines are mostly comprised of semitone steps, immediately followed dramatic leaps, and vice versa, and I think it helps with showing how exciting living in the moment can be, while also looking to what the future holds. I want to thank you all for helping me get this far. I know it's a little late for my channel anniversary, but I still think it's worth mentioning that I've been doing this for three whole years, and counting! You guys are such an inspiration to me, and I hope you enjoy all my work, remix or original, as we go forward! Thank you all for the support over the years!
