2016 Wrap-Up Megamix 'As We Go On'【END OF YEAR/5K SUBS】

Happy New Year everyone! Headphones recommended! ________________________________________________________ Wow guys! Can you believe 2016 is over? Quite a lot has happened this past year, for everyone. As we go on to the next year, it's important to reflect and... not be as cheesy as this sentence could've been! Like last year, I've prepared a special megamix to celebrate my year as a remixer! I'm glad that there are so many supporters here, as we're almost at 5K already! Thanks so much everyone! Took a while for me to get things going on this one, but I managed to feature ALL of my remixes in this one. Very different from last year's, I'll give it that. I borrowed a lot of ideas from my previous mixes, which is immediately apparent when the intro kicks in, which is a spruced up version of that from 'Gaze at the Sun', one of my favourite mixes to work on to date. After an orchestral intro, the mix hops into house with a mish-mash of melodies and that continues for a while until it speeds up to a hardcore-ish section, before coming to a close with piano! That piano outro includes a rendition of the piano sections from 'Battle for the Truth', which was my first 2016 remix, and the original melody from 'Beyond the Blue Yonder', which I view as my favourite remix that I've made, and one that I am most proud of. I cannot thank you guys enough for all the support throughout this year. We went from 1K to 5K in just one year, and I am just so amazed! It was also a pleasure to see the community as a whole grow, with plenty of fresh new and old remixers around, like Brotad, 1f1n1ty, VanilluxePavilion, AlmightyArceus, and so much more! And also the growth IllusionaryNeon's radio station RadioWhirlwind, which also involved a bunch of us remixers in megamixes hosted by AlmightyArceus! With the release of Pokemon Sun & Moon also, I'm sure there will be plenty to look forward to in the coming year! Thank you everyone, and I hope you all have a great year!
