Max Payne 3 supports ultrawide natively without the need of any FOV changes. The only thing that's a minor issue are the black bars during cutscenes.
The game looks absolutely amazing still even in 2020 in my opinion and it runs buttery smooth at 5120x1440 with all settings turned to the Max (pun intended :3) and at a stable 120 frames per second.
