Halo: Combat Evolved MCC on PC supports ultrawide really well.
Although not everything is perfect.
NOTE** This is the Insider build of Halo: Combat Evolved and the issues present in this build may not be in the final release of the game*
Cutscenes are rendered in 21:9, and they seem to update at 30 frames per second while the game is actually running at a higher framerate, making the game seem to jitter / microstutter and seem choppy throughout the cutscenes when in motion.
The UI is anchored to a 16:9 border which I prefer, but there is no way to customize the UI's placements to the user's preference.
The game is running very smoothly at higher refresh rates and doesn't have the same issue as Reach does which is the game not actually updating at the same speed as the framerate, making it look choppy / microstuttery.
NOTE: Watch in 1440P or 2160P for best quality. 1080P is essentially 540P due to the video's format.
