I wanted to see how well the original DOOM and DOOM II looked in ultrawide, but I wanted to take it one step further and make it more.. brutal.
So I installed Sergeant_Mark_IV's Brutal Doom which modernizes the experience by implementing super-awesome gory gameplay with super-awesome guns and explosions!
I recorded gameplay from both DOOM and DOOM II but chose to show off the clips from DOOM II as those were the most exciting moments through my session so far.
Through the power of GZDoom - DOOM and its sequels are playable on modern hardware with all kinds of unique resolutions and unlocked framerates.
