This is a small tip on how to use Unity's NavMesh to power a very simple character controller that doesn't rely on physics or on the NavMesh Agent, allowing for very stable movements even in complex layouts. Get the NavMesh components I mention in the video: https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/NavMeshComponents NOTE: This was never intended to be a complete solution and it still requires you to add control for animation, for jumps, acceleration, rotation, etc., but it can be useful as a base to quickly start a prototype or for a game jam. #unity3d #navmesh #unity
