Christopher Tin - Stream Of Life

Announcing my new choral album! 'Song Offerings: Choral Works by Christopher Tin' is a recording of two new major choral works by Denver's premiere vocal ensemble Kantorei, produced and recorded by Blanton Alspaugh and Mark Donahue of Soundmirror. Over the last few years, I've taken on more and more concert music commissions, and many of them include a recording by the group that commissioned them. So now in addition to my usual big concept albums like 'The Lost Birds', I'll be releasing recordings of my works that are composed specifically for concert performance by groups of all sizes. 'Song Offerings' is the first of this new type of release, out now on Decca Gold. Listen to the first single "Stream of Life", from the title work 'Song Offerings,' a collection of settings of poems from the stunning Gitanjali, by Nobel Prize-winning Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore.
