Christopher Tin - Only Thee

"That I want thee, only thee--let my heart repeat without end." Gitanjali is one of the most beautiful works I've ever read about devotional love for the divine. I found Tagore's writing so pure and beautiful, that I imagined my job as the composer to simply channel that blindingly pure love in the most direct means possible; to place it into the mouths of the singers who sing the work, so that they might in turn transmit it to the audience that they sing for. And not one of us will take anything from that love--we're simply vessels, passing it along in its purest form, so that it might be shared into the world. 🎧https://christophertin.lnk.to/SongOfferings #songofferings #ChristopherTin #ChoralMusic #RabindranathTagore #DeccaGold #Kantorei #PoetryInMusic #ChoralWorks #NewMusic #AlbumRelease
