Changing Priorities

In recent years, I've been doing more and more projects that are purely musical, and taking on fewer film and video game scores. The truth is, I enjoy writing music that's the star of the show, and not simply emotional wallpaper for someone else's storytelling. That's why I started making albums like 'The Drop That Contained the Sea'--I needed an artistic domain that was all my own, outside of my day job writing scores for other people. Looking forward, there will be a wide range of releases coming out that are an expression of the newfound joy I've found in being a composer and artist first and foremost. 'Song Offerings' is just the first chapter.
