Liliom - teaser

The carousels spin, jazz drifts through the park, and laughter fills the air. But beyond the lights, the Great Depression looms — dreams fade, certainties vanish, and even love hesitates to reveal itself. Liliom by John Neumeier turns these contrasts into movement that speaks where words fail. A story of weakness, desire, and hope for redemption. LILIOM Choreography and Costumes design: John Neumeier Music: Michel Legrand Sets: Ferdinand Wögerbauer Czech Premiere: 23 & 24 October 2025 --- Kolotoče se točí, parkem zní jazz a smích naplňuje vzduch. Ale za světly zábavního parku číhá velká hospodářská krize — sny blednou, jistoty mizí a i láska někdy váhá ukázat svou tvář. Liliom Johna Neumeiera proměňuje tyto kontrasty v pohyb, který mluví tam, kde slova nestačí. Příběh slabosti, touhy a naděje na vykoupení.
