The famous North Korean propaganda song “Where are you, dear general?” (Kor. 어디에 계십니까 그리운 장군님) was written in 1971 (supposedly by Kim Jong II) for the revolutionary opera. This melody sounds daily from the Central Railway Station in the capital of North Korea, serving as a kind of morning "alarm clock" and "lullaby" for the inhabitants of Pyongyang, North Korea. This video was recorded in June 2026 at 10:00 PM at Pyongyang railway station. Supposedly this song is played every 2 hours from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It was also heard once at 8:00 PM.
