In this installment of SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED, we go over how the world record holder for Cuphead Any%, Grondious, beats the game in under 28 minutes. If you thought the recent Half-Life 2 video was packed with tech, just wait until you watch this. This Cuphead Any% run is done on version 1.1.5, meaning the (in)famous Weapon Swap Glitch is patched out. This run is still absolutely packed with speedtech though, including triple damage Lobber EXs, optimized movement, Shop Skip, “skips” for bosses like Beppi, and much, much more.
