Rhoda Hardcok thought she had a hit on her hands, but unfortunately, it was banned from the radio due to a very unfortunate smear campaign. Rhoda's 9th husband (like her famous grandmom, Anita Hardcock, Rhoda was married 13 times!) Senator Harry D Nuttz, claimed before a congressional committee that if you played "He Gave Me a Pearl Necklace" backward, you could hear Rhoda say all sorts of demonic things! Rhoda laughed it off by saying, "If they knew what it said going frontward, it would have been banned even sooner!"
Another vintage song parody! Give Me a Pearl Necklace (Rare 1970s Song) by Rhoda Hardcok will get you laughing a boot stomping at the same time. Another hit comedy song the never was from SuS Records!
