Alright, so this is pretty much my first attempt at writing (and acting) a humor sketch. It was a technical NIGHTMARE!!!! my god there was so much LITTLE stuff i needed to fix in post that was just wayy beyond my skill level to fix. Beleive me, all the little things you see/hear wrong with the video, I am indeed aware of it.
Moral of the story? "Fix it in Post" is NOT THE RIGHT IDEA!!!!
and i even filmed this video trying to get everything right before getting to the computer. I put a conscious effort into it! but yes. I filmed this way back in May (hence why I'm playing the Reach Beta rather than the released game) and tried REALLY hard to get it finished before September 14th (Reach release date) but alas, no good. I had given up because the difficulty of fixing all the little inconsistencies and continuity problems were too daunting.
Obviously, i picked the project back up and finished it. Just be aware (if you're one of the 2% of viewers who read the full descriptions of videos lol) that this video is the best i could do with what I had. Even if i put another 10 hours into it, it would not get much better without re-filming the entire thing.
So that being said, i'm at least happy with I have now. I am satisfied, as they say.

I had only just gotten all (well, most) of the clips put together and some basic sound. Synchronizing all those sound files is annoying. You should see my after effects timeline!!! Even with pre-comping and clip-rendering the thing was huge. but yeah. by FAR the most difficult part of the entire video was getting it from that link to this final thing.
