In this video we modify our additive scene logic to use dictionaries instead of lists, making it scale much nicer if you have a large amount of scenes in your world. We also create "World Location" scriptable objects, which will contain all the scenes needed to make up a location, along with any other required locations that need to be loaded whilst you are within that location. The reason you may want to separate a large scene into it's smaller parts is because of the lack of stress that it will apply to your memory when a location has loaded or unloaded. These location scriptable objects can also be used to do things such as sending a location pop up when entering an area, or changing the post processing effects or even the ambient soundscape, as you are able to make these calls when an area has been loaded. ► GET MY GAME ON STEAM https://store.steampowered.com/app/2221060/Nephilite/ ► DEV LOGS (Second Channel) https://www.youtube.com/@SebbyGraves ► JOIN OUR DISCORD https://discord.gg/jC6EXKa9Fj ► SUPPORT ME ON PATREON! http://www.patreon.com/SebastianGraves ► ASSET STORE PAGE (Animations & Models) https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/58059 ► FOLLOW ME IN INSTAGRAM! https://www.instagram.com/tragicallycanadian/ ► EPISODE 150
